CAPTURE
Forensic Property Inspections
Every inspection follows a written protocol before the first photograph is taken. We document the property as found — orientation, elevations, roof planes, interior affected areas, and adjacent unaffected control areas — so that the record supports comparison rather than assertion.
Physical findings are correlated against objective external data: NOAA and third-party storm reporting for hail size and wind speed at the risk address, permit and repair history where available, and material age and installation characteristics. Moisture is mapped with calibrated meters and thermal imaging, with readings logged by location rather than summarized.
The result is a documentation set that supports cause, origin, and date-of-loss opinions on their own terms. Where the evidence does not support a conclusion, we say so — that discipline is what makes the conclusions we do reach defensible under cross-examination.
